Week 7: Two Small-Framed Pieces by ilona bds illustrations

I have always had a love for children's illustration. After completing a 4 year Illustration program from OCAD I was at a loss. It wasn't till I became pregnant with my first that I had this overwhelming desire to create artwork for the nursery. So here I am 5 years later, creating artwork for all to enjoy and living my dreams of being a mother and a mom-preneur. 

Each whimsical print, of my original artwork, is printed on eco-freindly paper, laminated on both sides (front is matte and slightly textured) for UV protection and longevity, matted with 100% eco-friendly mat board and then hand adorned with non-toxic glitter by me, my signature touch! All prints are singed and numbered along side my logo on the back.

Two small-framed pieces of your choice (ARV: $140)!  Winner will claim the prize in one of two ways:

 

1. Winner will select their prints from her website and they will be shipped (free shipping in Ontario), or

Let me introduce ourselves...

We are a husband-wife team, in our late 20s.
She is a Civil Litigation Clerk by day and jewelry designer by night.
There is also that ongoing title of "mommy" that she holds proudly to a 2.5 year old boy. He is a manager (aiming for President) of a collection firm and the mastermind behind the beaded jewelry (and avid sports tv watcher) at night.  The child?
The boy is the "assistant" who likes to sort our beads by colour, count them and (occasionally) try to feed them to us.

We have been designing and creating jewelry for almost 3 years.
Even though we've only been doing this for a short time, she has ALWAYS been meddling in something creative...sewing, painting, scrapbooking.
It's become a way of life...creating is a sort of high (without having to smoke anything).
